Best Time to Visit

November–December’s short rains green the plains quickly and bring fewer tourists. January–March, in the southern Serengeti/Ndutu area, is prime for newborn wildebeest calves and arguably the best predator action, as calving season concentrates lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
